Confirmation is a rite of passage for youth to share in as they move from a child-like faith to a deeper understanding of their connection with God and the church.  In 7th and 8th grades, youth gather with one another and the pastor or other adult leaders for relationship building, fun activites, opportunities to serve in the chuch and community, and to learn about Jesus.  At the end of their 8th grade year, youth, along with their parents and the whole congregation, participate in a special worship service that includes their Affirmation of Baptism.  It's an opportunity to celebrate the God who has always been with them and promises to stick by them forever.

Dinner and Class time

Confirmation meets for dinner on Wednesday nights along with the High School Youth Group at 5:30 in the Fellowship Hall.  At 6:00 we gather for some games and fun activities, plus some learning time about following Jesus.  It's fun and rowdy, and often kinda goofy... but we manage to figure out how God is at work in and around us for the sake of each other and the world.  All are welcome.
